CoolIT Domino A.L.C. CPU Liquid Cooling System Review

Conclusions
Admittedly, it’s pretty unlikely that a watercooling purist will be impressed by the CoolIT Domino A.L.C. or its performance. Most would find any number of complaints about the system. But for an inexpensive drop-in watercooling system, the Domino A.L.C.’s numbers are nothing to sneeze at. I saw temperature decreases in every test, and a significant drop in the overclock tests.

The unit appears well-made, is totally self-contained, and comes with everything you need to cool any CPU made in the last few years, including the new Core i7. It does its job in silence, which is always a beautiful thing.

So what about the down sides? The unit is incapable of any upgrades, and is designed to cool only the CPU, there are no provisions for adding other waterblocks to the loop. But so what? The CoolIT is available directly from CoolIT for 79.99. That’s cheaper than some air coolers. Definitely a value. ThinkComputers.org gives the CoolIT Domino A.L.C. a 9 out of 10 score.
