Cooler Master MasterAir Pro 4 & MasterAir Pro 3 CPU Coolers Review

Performance Testing
As I said we installed the coolers in our Z97 system, it is made up of the follow components:

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K
Motherboard: ASUS Z97-A
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 980 Ti AMP!
Memory: 16GB Kingston 10th Anniversary
Power: be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 850W
Storage: 120GB Samsung 840 Evo
Cooling: Scythe Fuma
Case: Cooler Master MasterCase 5 with 2 fans

For testing we will first be taking our idle temperatures from the Windows 10 desktop after having the system on in an idle state for one hour.

Next we will be putting 100% load on the CPU using Prime95. We will run it and take a temperature reading at the 1 hour mark.

Taking a look at our scores we have some interesting results. The MasterAir Pro 3 results were a little on the high side for our liking. While the MasterAir Pro 4 has pretty in line with other coolers in our test group. Please keep in mind that most coolers in our test group are high performance coolers made for overclocking etc.
