Cooler Master Hyper TX3 CPU Cooler Review

Hyper TX3 Overview

The Cooler Master Hyper TX3 is Cooler Master’s first-ever fully compatible Intel LGA 1156 socket CPU Cooler. The vertical heatsink design allows up to two 92mm fans to be installed to provide maximum cooling; only one is included. The TX3 also provides a direct touch heatsink design with three total heatpipes. The aluminum fin heatsink stack, including base, measures in only at 139mm high, 51mm deep and 90mm wide.

There are two notches on either side of the heatsink that are used for fan installation. The three copper heatpipes make a U-shape through the heatsink stack and are capped with copper at the top.

The highly polished heatpipes make about a 47mm gap from the bottom of the heatsink to the bottom of the base. They seem to be perfectly aligned and have no noticeable dings, scratches or other imperfections.

The base of the TX3 has a brushed finish which has flattened the direct-touch copper pipes with the base of the cooler. The base of the cooler has four screw holes on each side for CPU Cooler installation.
