Cooler Master CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse Review

Conclusion
The Cooler Master CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse was pleasant and easy to use. It was easy to get used to and didn’t make your hand hurt after hours of use. The mouse itself has many changeable options, in fact it’s probably one of the most adjustable mouse’s I’ve ever come across. The software included with the Inferno is also probably one of the most intuitive interfaces I’ve also come across. It’s easy to use and doesn’t look like some college intern designed the graphics and interface.

While I found nothing wrong with the mouse I could see that the illumination coming off of the mouse (scroll wheel, front, back, and profile changer) may be annoying for some. The only other downfall is that it’s hard to find right now. The MSRP of the Inferno is $59.99, but it’s hard to even find the mouse at a reputable seller. This is probably because it was only released on August 12, 2010. I’m sure we’ll see more retails offering this mouse in the future. ThinkComputers would like to award the Cooler Master CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse a 10 out of 10 score.

  1. I bought this mouse a week ago. As it has been heavily reviewed as good for MMO gamers.. It is NOT. I play WoW and basically the extra programmable buttons do not work in game. I’ve messed with all the Inferno mouse settings, Contacted CM Storm in every way possible. They keep giving me the run around and no answer. This mouse is not meant for World of Warcraft. I’m sure this mouse would be great for a FPS but as for MMO’s its not compatible. Don’t waste your money.

  2. My mouse was working 5minutes ago, but now, though everything else is fine, my mouse pointer doesn’t seem to move when i move my mouse…Any idea?

  3. I’m using it for SW:TOR and it works great.  Only problem I’ve had is it isn’t always recognized when booting the computer.  I some times have to unplug it and plug it back in after booted.
