Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced Case Review

A Look Inside
As we open the first real difference you will notice on the CM 690 II compared to the original is the all black interior.  Almost every case manufacturer out there is doing that all black interior, it just makes things look better inside and it’s a nice change from the steel we are all used to.  Another thing to notice is all of the cable routing holes, which makes it easy to hide cables.

Looking towards the bottom of the case there are 2 large honeycombed ventilation spots.  One is for the power supply and the other actually goes all the way to the front of the case, which can be used for more fans or even a radiator if you have a water-cooling setup.  Moving up to the top of the case you have one 120mm rear exhaust fan and a 140mm top exhaust fan.  Both of these fans have both 3pin and 4pin Molex connections so if you wanted to connect them to your motherboard you could.

Moving over to the hard drive cage you have 6 pull out hard drive bays.

Up top you have your typical 4 5.25-inch drive bays.  Each bay has its own tool-less locking system.

Also inside of the case you will find a box that has mounting screws, motherboard standoffs, cable ties, a power supply filter, a VGA holder, and the installation guide.

  1. I am very pleased with the thought and don’t feel like adding anything in it. It a perfect answer. Every dark night is followed by a bright sunny day. So, patience and attention is required and things will be fruitful in near future.

  2. I was going to suggest that you save nothing because that would mean you would qualify for more State benefits when you retire. However, as these benefits are looking precarious at the moment it probably is best to be as self-reliant as possible.
