CM Storm Ceres 500 Overview
Taking a first look at the Ceres 500, on the side of the earcups you can see the CM Storm logo. It does not look like the logo will light up when the headset is plugged in. Another one of the nice features which the Ceres 500 has is the lay flat design.
The headband is made out of a nice and cushy foam, although the foam seems to be kind of thin.
If you are an on-the-go type of person, the CM Storm Ceres 500 headset also folds up to be more compact while traveling or stored inside of your backpack. On the inside of the ear cups you have a pretty thick foam which seems like it will be very comfortable while playing games for a long period of time.
The left ear cup does not have a logo but it does have the hole to insert the detachable mic.The detachable microphone seems to only go in one way, but it also has a flexible boom so you can adjust it to where you would like it to be.
The USB cable and also the 3.5mm jack are the main connectors for the Ceres 500. We also have the inline controller, which features the switch to go from Console to PC mode, Volume Up/Down, and also a Chat Volume Up/Down. There is also a microphone mute switch and what seems to be a LED for the CM Storm Ceres 500 headset. The back of the inline control has clip which would allow you to clip on clothing or an object where your gaming.
