CES 2010: iBUYPOWER

Our friends from iBUYPOWER had sure a lot of things to show us this year at CES, some things were so top secret they would not even let us take photos of them! iBUYPOWER is one of the best custom system builders out there, we recently reviewed one of their custom systems and were very impressed. Let’s see what iBUYPOWER has in store for us in 2010!

The biggest announcement from iBUYPOWER was their new Battalion Touch CZ-10 gaming notebook. What sets this notebook apart from other notebooks is that is it a touchscreen notebook, not only that it is multi-touch. iBUYPOWER is the first company to offer a multi-touch gaming laptop. Ubisoft has an upcoming strategy title called R.U.S.E. that will is compatible with the multi-touch interface. The base price on these notebooks will start at $1099 and move up from there depending on what components you want inside.

The Thermaltake Level 10 sure is an interesting case, we took a look at it in our Thermaltake CES coverage. iBUYPOWER will be offer custom systems with the Level 10, but they also have done something very interesting with it. They have worked closely with Asetek and Thermaltake to enable a custom liquid CPU cooling system that fits inside of the Level 10. They are the only one currently offering internal liquid cooling on the Level 10.

One cool thing iBUYPOWER is doing is the completely sleeved cables on the power supply. This is not just regular sleeving, but every cable is sleeved individually. To understand what I mean check out the photos below. iBUYPOWER will be offering this as an upgrade option on their system for around $50.
