Back in early 2015 at CES Intel showed us a really cool device that they were really excited about. It was their Compute Stick, which was an entire PC in the form factor of an HDMI stick. It is pretty awesome that with this device you can turn any HDMI display into a computer! The tagline of “Connect. Compute. It’s that simple.” really fits the Compute Stick perfectly. Intel released the first version of the Compute Stick in 2015 and now it is on its second generation. The second generation makes improvements over the first generation product, inside you have an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor (Cherry Trail), 2GB of DDR3L memory, and 32GB of onboard storage. Intel has also added a second USB port (compared to the single port on the 1st generation) and has improved wireless connectivity with 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth 4.2 with a 2×2 antenna. Let’s take the 2nd generation Intel Compute Stick for a spin and see what it can really do!

This makes the headset very versatile as you can use it with your consoles using the 3.5 mm connector and when you want to use it with your PC you can use the included USB adapter which will give you all of the benefits of Dolby Headphone technology. Let’s take a look at the VOID Surround and see what it is all about.

When it comes to headphones there are two types of people typically, those we prefer in-ear headphones (earbuds) and those who prefer over-ear or on-ear headphones. When it comes to selecting a pair of on-ear headphones you definitely want them to be comfortable and sound good, but at the same time you want them to look good as well. The Bluetooth headphones we are taking a look at today look pretty awesome, so hopefully they sound good and are comfortable too. The headphones I’m talking about are the Kinivo URBN, which feature 40 mm drivers, an awesome carrying case, a load of controls, and much more. Let’s take a look and see what the URBN headphones are all about.
Recording and streaming your gameplay has never been more popular. Some people are making a full-time living off of gaming videos on YouTube and with streaming services like Twitch. Audiofly has really impressed us with their in-ear headphones. We first took a look at their high-end AF78’s then moved down to the AF56’s and now we are taking a look at the AF45’s. These sit right above Audiofly’s entry-level AF33’s, so they are two steps down from the top of the line AF78’s. Audiofly tells us that the AF45’s deliver clear, honest tones. They have well defined mids that groove with a punchy bass and blend with stunning highs that chime like a church bell. At only $35 these fit into the budget of most people, let’s see if they are for you.
When it comes to home security cameras there are so many options available. While this is really nice, it can also be overwhelming as you try to decide what is right for you and the environment you are trying to protect. Should you go with a traditional monitoring set up with wired cameras recording to back up drives, or a web based wireless solution? Often times price is the biggest factor when buying this type of equipment but just as often you pay for what you get. And that is where the D-Link DCS-2630L comes into play. This Wi-Fi enabled full HD home security camera is D-Link’s new flagship security product and it is packed full of features like a 180° viewing angle, 802.11 ac wireless, and much more. Follow along as we test out the DCS-2630L and find out if it really is top of the line.

These wireless earbuds feature soft, shapeable hooks which are customizable to provide the ultimate fit to you ear’s contours. The wraparound cable design provides tangle-free comfort. Not that long ago we took at a look at Audiofly’s AF78 In-Ear headphones and after our evaluation they were the best in-ear headphones we had ever used! Moving down the product stack today we have the AF56m’s, which sits in the mid-range of Audiofly’s offerings. Audiofly says this about the AF56m’s, “Packing our largest in-ear driver, the AF56 delivers uncompromising sound, pumping out astonishing clarity over the whole spectrum with a rich and detailed bottom end… all with a nostalgic smirk”. If these are anything like the AF78’s we have another great set of headphones from Audiofly. These are the “m” version of the headphones meaning they have an in-line microphone that will allow you to take calls. Let’s take a look and see if we have another winner from Audiofly!
