Bluetooth headphones are great, they eliminate the annoying wires of traditional headphones and work with any Bluetooth device. This makes them extremely versatile and you don’t need to have your Bluetooth device on you at all times. This means you can have your device charging in the other room and still be able to listen to music etc. Not that long ago we took a look at LUXA2’s Lavi S Bluetooth headphones, they were a sort of mix between a set of headphone and a Bluetooth speaker. Driving can be fun, stressful, annoying, and a lot of other emotions. Luckily, radios and CD players have been stock in vehicles for years. But as mobile devices increased in popularity, vehicle manufacturers weren’t ready to outfit their products with the latest technology. If you’re stuck without Bluetooth or USB in your vehicle, then iTrip Aux or iTrip Bluetooth may be what you’re looking for. iTrip Aux has a built-in Lightning connector for modern Apple devices, and iTrip Bluetooth provides a wireless interface for all mobile devices that support Bluetooth. iTrip Aux and iTrip Bluetooth both forward the audio they receive to any 3.5mm input, allowing most older vehicles to be outfitted with new connectivity options.
Portable Bluetooth speakers have really taken off in the past few years. They make playing and sharing your music with friends extremely easy. Divoom thinks they have that Bluetooth Speaker in their Voombox Outdoor. It is a portable Bluetooth speaker with a more rugged design and a water-resistant case that protects its components from splashing water and dust. Read on as we see what this Bluetooth speaker is all about…
Last year we took a look at Kingston’s original HyperX Cloud Gaming headset and there really was not much to not like about it. Now on its second iteration we are quite excited to see what Kingston has done to make this headset even better. The biggest change is the addition of 7.1 virtual surround sound via a USB controller with DSP sound card. Do not worry though you still have the ability to use the Cloud II with a 3.5 mm plug if you wish. Kingston has pretty much retained the same design with the Cloud II as we saw on the original headset. This means you have that brushed aluminum build with a very comfortable headband, stitched HyperX logo, and two sets of earcups. Is this the gaming headset for you? Read on as we find out…
Twenty is an interesting name for an audio product, but once it’s known that Twenty provides 20 watts of power per channel, its name immediately makes sense. Griffin originally released Twenty when Apple’s AirPort Express was popular and tech products with rounded edges were all the rage. Slide into 2015 and Griffin has redesigned Twenty to be a centerpiece for Bluetooth home entertainment. 2015’s Twenty has sturdy metal speaker terminals, a weighted aluminum volume knob, and a modern design that will fit in with any home’s decor. Twenty’s latest incarnation also supports AAC and aptX Bluetooth codecs, while retaining an optical input and subwoofer out from its past form. Twenty is ready to transform your current audio setup into a stylish masterpiece.
NZXT is a company that we typically know for their PC cases and cooling devices. They have made a great name for themselves in these markets. Well at CES this year they announced a new product that brings them to a brand new market. The product is called DOKO and it is a PC streaming device. PC streaming and streaming services have become extremely popular over the past few years. It seems everyone is coming out with a streaming box or device. We know NZXT puts great quality into their cases so we hope they can bring that to the DOKO. The DOKO is also strictly a streaming device, you cannot load apps on it or does not come with pre-loaded apps. The DOKO does have some very unique features and we think that is what sets it apart from other streaming devices out there. Will this device become a staple in our home theater setup? Read on as we find out!
LUXA2 has slowly been growing on customers as they have been coming out with some really great mobile products and accessories. Today we have one of their latest products, the Lavi-S, which is a Bluetooth headset that not only sounds great but has a feature you just will not find on other headsets. First off the headset features 40 mm drivers that will give you a balanced range of bass, midrange and treble tones. The really interesting thing about this headset is that it has three different play modes. So you have Bluetooth and wired (aux in) playback, which is typical on most Bluetooth headsets, but with the Lavi-S you also have external speakers on the earcups. This allows you to share the music you are listening to with your friends and the people around you. Will this 2-in-1 device replace the need for a separate Bluetooth headset and speaker? Read on as we find out.
