At CES Corsair has introduced their first ever Mini-ITX case, the Obsidian Series 250D. Since this case is part of the Obsidian Series we can expect it to be very high quality. The case itself is made of brushed aluminum and solid steel. The Obsidian Series 250D is also Corsair’s smallest case to date.
Antec was showing off a new gaming case this year at CES. The GX900 is a gaming themed case that looks very similar to the GX700 that Antec launched last year at CES. This case has a sleek black and green military design.
2014 is going to be a big year for storage as LSI will be releasing their Griffin controller. Mushkin’s latest Helix series of solid state drives will feature this controller and will be released later in 2014.
While there were not a lot of big motherboard announcements at CES this year ASUS was showing off their recently announced Z87-Deluxe/SATA Express motherboard. This motherboard is a modified version of the original Z87-Deluxe where ASUS has swapped out the typical SATA connectors for SATA Express.
While the big story of CES was Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Carbon they also took the time to announce their Miix 2 Hybrid Laptop / Tablet. The Miix 2 is the ideal solution for someone who frequently uses both a laptop and a tablet.

Zalman showed us its new ZM-GM4, an 8200 dpi gaming mouse with 8 customizable buttons and adjustable weight and dimensions. It includes the hex key necessary to adjust the mouse. The bubble on the top is where the weights are, just like in the ZM-GM3, the predecessor of this unit.
