Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have BS MODS’ “Fallout Vault-Tec Build” build. Here is what they had to say about it, “We had to pick a game based theme and we wanted something with a well-established fan base. Fallout 4 is scheduled to come out soon and has great lore to work with. Our build is more Fallout in general, but most of the build inspiration came from the Fallout 4 trailer. We focused on just the Vault-Tec side of Fallout.”
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have Boddaker’s “Adrenal Express” build. Here is what he had to say about it, “The Core X9 will become the vessel that transports this highly exuberant chemical to its new owners, curing them of the common doldrums. Of course, there is only one company internationally certified to carry such a fragile, and extremely rare commodity…And that company is: Adrenal Express.”
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have ThermalMike’s “Project SunkisTt” build. Here is what he had to say about it, “When I started my first modding project with Thermaltake, I was not really sure what I wanted to achieve with this build. How to make it a part of what I do, taking into account what I have done for several years with my car hobby and paint hobby and bring it into full throttle for a unique system, a Thermaltake system that I am proud to say is my own.”
I’m sure at some point you had a bad PC setup. Maybe moving into a new place, waiting for a new desk to arrive or you just ran out of room. I can remember my horrible PC setups from when I was living at the dorms in college. If you have ever ventured over to the Shitty Battlestations sub-reddit you will find a lot of horrible PC setups. We will are going to pick 20 each month and feature them as 20 of the Worst PC setups for that month. Here are some of the bad ones from October!
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have p0Pe’s “HEX GEAR R40 Engineering Station” build. Here is what he had to say about it, “So, as many of you know, I started my own company a year ago with A buddy, which we named HEX GEAR. Since I do all of the 3D work on these cases, I naturally need a quite powerfull workstation, and I of course wanted that workstation to be in one of our R40 cases.”
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have DeBlow’s “Project Alternate” build. Here is what he had to say about it, “After what feels like a very long year I have decided to start work on my new desk build. The idea for this desk came to me when i was working on my last desk & at one point I almost started the project again, but I’m glad i didn’t. Most people liked the desk & I learned a great deal during the build. The Project Alternate design slightly changed month by month & I will show some of the other plans & explain why the changes was made. This time I’m hoping to outdo my last desk & hopefully help others in the process. The desk work is about to start, using mostly MDF, Perspex, clay, metal & glass I plan to build the desk in 3 parts, starting from the bottom, then middle followed by the top section. The tricky parts will be the sharp corners & angles on the edges.”
Gaming centers are nothing new to the Pittsburgh area. We have seen quite a few come and go over the years and it seems no one has really got the right recipe for a gaming center that lasts. Well a new gaming center has sprung up in the Brookline area of Pittsburgh offering a unique mix of PC and Console gaming with a co-working space as well. Last week we visited Looking For Group or LFG to see what they were all about.
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have Show4Pro’s “MAXXPlanck V2” build. Here is what he had to say about it, “Its been a while (1.5 yrs) since I updated my computer. I thought about upgrading to the next gen i7 (I’m still rocking the bloomfield), but didn’t really see the need for a faster processor. Thought about getting the new Corsair 900D to replace my 8 year old Super Armor, but wanted to do something different.. something unique. While browsing Battlestations on Reddit for ideas, I came across a very simple yet elegant looking wall mounted computer, and that is where this whole project began.”
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have derickwm’s “Alaskan Arctic” build. Here is what he had to say about it, “A new system builder called AION approached me and asked me to design their flagship system, this will be available in very limited quantities and will be able to be purchased in the Fall!”
