Final Thoughts
The BFG EX 1000W is certainly a model to consider when looking for a high end power supply unit for that next multi-video card gaming rig or high end server. Watch for undervolting rails with a program like Speedfan-I’d be interested to hear from readers who have used this unit to see if it’s just our review unit or it’s a trend with the series.
The modular design and 80PLUS certification are big items in the win category for BFG, but, as always, the lifetime warranty is what is the greatest benefit of BFG products. It’s ballsy, and I love it.
ThinkComputers gives the BFG EX Series 1000W Modular Power Supply a 9 out of 10 score.

Pros:
– 80PLUS Bronze certified (> 82%efficiency)
– Modular
– Quiet
Cons:
– Beware of undervolting
– On the upper-middle end of the pricing for 1000W units

Would have been great if they only had the 24-pin, 8-pin, and PCIe cables directed connected.

Dislike the quad rail design, however gives more than enough power for most users
Agreed, a single rail would have been much better.

i think that BFG Tech has taken a whole new approach to computer power supplies with the EX Series. … If so, please take a few moments to write your rating!
