Valve has been planning to bring out its new video game consoles which are more like PCs and have been named as Steam Machines and will be made accessible in the year 2014. The consoles will be released in diverse sizes and will also differ in specs from both first-party and third party makers. This Steam Machine is going to be manufactured using off-the-rack PC parts and might be completely upgradable. Clients might also be given the freedom to overhaul distinctive parts of their Steam Machine, for instance the GPU, CPU, hard drive etc.
Valve has as of recently shipped the first cluster of first-party Steam Machines to 300 beta testers. These testers might tickle and play around with the Valve’s gaming console and in the end report any blemish to the organization. This is going to help the company in making the consoles better and more perfect. An unboxing video of the Steam Machine and the Steam Controller has already been posted by a Youtube user, Corey Nelson. These show the absolutely new and spotless Steam Machine and Steam Controller being taken out of its box. The system is going to be transported very securely in a wooden box, which ensures that there are no damages. The bundle holds Steam Machine and Steam Controller, on top of aides and some components.
