DICE has officially revealed the PC requirements for Battlefield 4 on their Facebook page today. It looks like the game will run just fine on mid-range cards at 1080p resolution. Battlefield 4 is using the Frostbite 3 engine to deliver its powerful graphics. We have the system requirements listed below…
PC is the lead platform for Battlefield 4 so it is optimized for PC hardware. For their “Recommended” setting they suggest an AMD Radeon HD 7870 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660. These are both sub $250 cards. The recommended processor is and AMD Six Core or Intel Quad Core. That means that you can use something as old as a Sandy Bridge chip on the Intel side and anything from AMD’s Phenom (six core) or AMD’s FX-6000 range. The Memory is set at 8GB, which is pretty common in most PC’s these days as 16GB is what gamers are running in new systems.
Battlefield 4 will be launching on October 29th 2013. The BETA is expected to be announced in early October.
