ThermoLab has rolled out into the market its new heat sink which is named as GOYO and the company has even posted a couple of pictures on the internet regarding it. Some of the pictures have been released on the internet of this tower heatsink and it might just appear as too big in them but in reality the measurements are merely 125 mm x 70 mm x 135 mm and it weighs only 290g.
But the inside truth was revealed by a slide posted by DG’s Nerdy Story which says that the Hawaii chip has so much more to offer than just this. The chip inside the Radeon R9 290X has 4 Compute Units disabled and this clearly shows that the full fledged chip is yet to be launched and we just haven’t seen it in full form as yet.
Now that CES is just around the corner, we are being flooded with many interesting releases. Now LG is looking forward to unveiling a few new devices which will be running on Windows 8. The new eight gigabit (GB), low power double data rate 4 (LPDDR4), mobile DRAM is the industry’s very first innovative memory technology and has been devised by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. This comes as no surprise because Samsung has already been known as a leader in this memory field.
The 4th generation Core i7 HEDT (high-end desktop) platform is soon going to be launched by Intel and this has been codenamed as Haswell-E. We can expect to see this being launched by the third quarter of 2014, which might be after June, making it almost a year from the Core i7 “Ivy Bridge-E” launch.
PowerColor has been a leading name in the list of AMD manufacturers and they just recently previewed their Radeon R9 290X PCS+ which is going to be launched soon. This card includes triple fan cooling solution which will protect from heat and cool the AMD’s flagship Hawaii chip. We should be expecting the non reference models of the Radeon R9 290X by next week and it is most likely that they will generate better cooling and overclocking performance.
AMD’s net gen Opteron chips will include the Toronto APU, Toronto CPU and Cambridge CPU and AMD has already presented a road map for these. The surprising part is that this road map also includes some details about the AMD’s Carrizo APU which is going to be launched in the year 2015.
