Our friends at Thermaltake were nice enough to invite us to their suite at the Venetian to check out some of their new products. This year, Thermaltake has quite a few new products and even some different products that you wouldn’t think they would be releasing. On the LUXA2 side of things, they had some new products as well. This is also the first time we’ve been able to check out the Level 10 case in person. Read on to see what Thermaltake has in store for you in 2010!
That’s right the ThinkComputers staff has made it to Vegas for CES. As many of you know CES is the largest trade show in North America! We will be there covering all of the new hardware, gadgets, etc. The week is very crazy, but check back to the site each day as we should have at least 1 post a day from the show floor.
You can also check out the tag CES 2010 on the site and that will take you to all related posts to the show. We will have a link at the top of the page very shortly. Also make sure to follow us on twitter as we will be tweeting about all of the cool things we see throughout the week!
The last time we looked at a CyberPower system its price tag was $1599 and it was able to play every game currently available. This time around CyberPower has built us a system that can also play every game available, but this time it is $300 less! The CyberPower Gamer Xtreme 2000 Core i5 Gaming System features the new Core i5-750 processor and rocks a 5870 1GB video card, which is capable of playing DirectX 11 games. With all CyberPower systems this one comes with a 30-day money back guarantee and a 3 year labor and 1 year parts warranty. Let’s take a look…
Digital cameras keep on going down in price and you can easily get a great point and shoot digital camera for around $150 these days. With many digital cameras being almost the same, what do you really look for in a camera? The things that I really look at are how many megapixels the camera has, the zoom on the lens, and how big the LCD is. Well today we are looking at a 10-megapixel camera that has a 4x optical zoom and a nice large 3-inch LCD display. The camera I’m talking about is the Kodak EasyShare M420. Geeks.com was nice enough to provide us with the Kodak M420 for review. Geeks.com is a great place to find cheap digital cameras.
Home Theatre PC’s or HTPC’s have been around for a few years now and are very popular. Most people use their old PC for a HTPC. The problem with that is that they are loud, not that powerful, and take up a lot of space. Well ASRock has got your HTPC needs covered with the ION 330HT Nettop that is capable of full 1080p high definition video playback and true-fidelity 7.1 surround sound audio. This system is powered by a Dual Core Intel Atom 330 (1.6GHz) processor, NVIDIA ION Graphics Processor, 2GB DDR2-800 memory, 320GB hard drive, DVD player and even WiFi!
From all of us here at ThinkComputers we want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas! We hope everyone got what they wanted this year! Wonder what we wanted this year? Check out our 2009 Wish List! We hope everyone enjoys the holiday and all of the good food and presents! Stay tuned for some really awesome reviews next week!
The other day I received a package in the mail from ASUS. It contained the packages you see above. ASUS was nice enough to send us a Christmas gift this year to show their appreciation for our support of their products. I really was not sure what was inside the boxes, but when I went to open them I was surprised with cookies and candy! These treats are from Cheryl&Co. and are very good, ASUS picked a good set that has something everyone will like. Special thanks to ASUS for all their support throughout the year and we wish them a very safe and happy holiday.
We have been reviewing Antec cases for quite some time here at ThinkComputers. While most Antec cases are revolutionary and have many features you just don’t find on other cases they really are plain cases in the sense that they are not that flashy or stylish at all. Well Antec has a case that is anything but ordinary. This case looks nothing like any other case out there and it seems weird coming from a company like Antec, but remember most of their cases really are revolutionary and this one sure is. So without further ado I present the Skeleton Case from Antec!
Here at ThinkComputers we get to take a look at a lot of cool gear, a lot of which we get to keep, but there are always things that we would like to have. Each staff member has comprised a list of products they would like to receive this year for Christmas. Some of these items are what you might expect, but others are totally off the wall! Read on to see what the ThinkComputers staff wants for Christmas…
