Audiofly AF-78 In-Ear Headphones Review

Usage & Testing
I have been using the AF-78’s for the past 3 weeks. They had been my main pair of headphones so that means I’ve used them when I’m using my laptop, when I’m listening to music on my iPhone, and when I’m been playing games on my tablet.

The first thing that I have to say is that the AF-78’s really, really sound amazing. If you compare them to say the headphones that came with your phone or other device you will immediately notice the difference. It is very noticeable when listening to music, which I feel these headphones were really made for. I really listened to all types of music and it all sounded great. There were great mids and highs and pretty good bass, but not overpowering like many headphones tend to do. The bass really seemed tuned well here. Songs like Martin Garrix’s “Forbidden Voices” were a real joy to listen to using these headphones.

The AF-78’s that we received came with both silicon ear tips and the Comply foam ear tips. The Comply foam ear tips come pre-installed on the headphones and for good reason. While they are a little weird to get used to at first, they are the most comfortable ear tips I have encountered. The memory foam conforms to the ear canal to maintain an acoustic seal. These tips also offer exceptional sound isolation, when I say you can be in your own world with these tips that is the truth. Probably the best sound isolation I’ve experienced with in-ear headphones as well. The silicon ear tips are good and very comfortable, but just don’t compare to the Comply tips.

The included tin that the headphones come with is pretty nice, but the top does not lock on that well. If you do not pack the headphones in there perfectly the top of the tin will come off. I would have liked to have seen a bigger tin too, one that you could carry the headphones in, an adapter and maybe an extra set of tips.
