The screen is quite clear and expressive. The black levels are excellent, and the connectivity is great. A contrast ratio of 20,000:1 is great, as is the 5ms response time. The viewing angle is advertised at 160°, but it feels like I can get closer to 180° than that before it’s unreadable.
For a price of $150 at Geeks.com, the ASUS vh232h is a fantastic deal for someone looking to upgrade from an older LCD display or looking to add a second display to an existing one.
