ASUS USB-N13 802.11n Network Adapter Review

A Closer Look
If you already own the ASUS RT-N56U or if you just want a stylish wireless USB adapter, then the USB-N13 is it. It’s difficult to see in the photos but the bottom half of the adapter where the ASUS logo is has a slight carbon fiber look. Think of the RT-N56U pattern condensed onto the front of this wireless adapter.

The left side has a removable cap, the right has a spot for the wrist strap to connect, and the top is home to the WPS button. The back of the adapter is privy to all of the normal technical details like serial number, MAC address, model number, and certification logos. There is also a green LED on the front right side of the adapter. It illuminates green when on or connected, and flashes during data transfer. What I like about the LED is that it isn’t overly bright. It gets the point across without blinding you or lighting up a corner of a room.
