ASUS’s AI Suite II is probably the most compressive suite of software tools that comes with a motherboard, at least from what I’ve seen. It comes with many tools, the first of which is the TurboV EVO tool. It allows you to easily change CPU and voltage settings to overclock your CPU. There is event an auto tuning section, which will automatically overclock the CPU, but we will get in to that on the next page.
The Digi+ VRM allows you to change all of your power settings so you don’t have to go into the BIOS to do it. This is the first time I have seen something like this offered in motherboard software. EPU allows you to set your power saving mode.
In the Fan Xpert tool you can monitor fan speeds, but also apply fan settings for the best performance. Probe II gives you the current voltages, temperatures and fan speeds. You can set threshold and limits on each and the system will alert you when they reach that limit. The Sensor Recorder can record those values for a certain period of time. This is good if you are testing a certain piece of hardware.
ASUS update is a nice little tool that allows you to update your BIOS from the internet or a file. You are also able to save your current BIOS to a file. I used this tool to update the BIOS to the latest version. In My logo you can change the BIOS boot logo.
System information will give you all of the information on the motherboard, CPU and SPD information on your installed memory.
