ASUS today launched their 15.6-inch touch-enabled Ultrabook called the ViviBook S551. The device is powered by the competent NVIDIA GT 740M graphic processing unit which provides ample power for every application and side by side also includes Intel’s 4th generation Haswell based core processor. What a combination! We must say. With the mobile NVIDIA GT 740M it does not compromise on power and performance at all while taking care of the heat dissipation as well(important in case of thin UltraBooks).
ASUS VivoBook caters with the most responsive and accurate touch screen and is a class in itself. Importantly it provides users the access to explore the entire gesture control range of Windows 8 without any delays. Thanks to the new 22nm microprocessor, a powerful 28nm GPU and ASUS features of power management.
It comes in an impressive metallic design, measures 22.5mm in thickness and weighs just 2.4 kgs. It can easily last for 6 hours when fully charged, provided the usage is on office, social networks and browsing etc so that consumer can enjoy long hours of surfing without any obstacles in mind, therefore giving a freedom of mobility.
The aluminum coating which gives an utter elegant look is highly durable and is resistant to scratch damage and support more heat dissipation thus keeping the machine cool.
With the launch of VivoBook S551, ASUS like always has wisely put the needs and expectations of its customers first. No further information on pricing has been mentioned but we are fully expecting it to be available any time soon with at least a price of $999.
