Want to extend your Wi-Fi range? Why not go for the dual band RP-N53 W-Fi range extender? The new range extender, announced today by ASUS uses strong internal antennas to provide its users with a wide coverage area. This N53 enables users to have a sound and a stable access to network access. The most amazing feature is that it can be used in multiple-floor buildings promising to give good network signals. The N53 can be used at home or an office. It can be kept in the backyard, the roof or as discussed before, on any floor.

The RP-N53 is very easy and convenient to set up. Unlike many of its peers, the N53 can be paired with a wireless router just by pressing the WPS button. There is no complication in the installation or the operation. The range extender, which is compatible with almost all ASUS routers, can also be setup with PC’s, tablets and smart TV’s.

The N53 has LED lights installed on it to enable users to see the strength of the signals at particular places. This enables users to place the device at the place where the signal strength is the best. These LED lights can be turned off by using the touch sensor. The N53 has a special feature for music-lovers. Surprisingly, the N53 comes with a 3.5mm jack to enable it to be connected to speakers and become part of home entertainment systems. So basically it can transfer good quality music wirelessly for the ease and convenience of users.

The RP-N53 can offer performance of up to 300 Mbit/s via 2.4Ghz and up to 500 Mbit/s via 5GHz. The 2.4GHz version is suitable to web browsing and social networking (Facebook, twitter, Skype) whereas for HD streaming, one would go for the 5 GHz version. The bands can be changed by using the web based browser.
