ASUS BC-08B1ST Blu-ray Combo Drive Review

BC-08B1ST Drive Overview
There really isn’t much when it comes to an optical drive. ASUS has gone with a black bezel on the drive. Most drives are coming this way because of the popularity of black cases these days. The front of the drive is pretty simple with Blu-ray and ASUS logos on the front. Like all new optical drives this is a SATA drive.

Getting the drive installed is pretty simple. We installed the drive in a Thermaltake Element T case, so it went right in and we connected the power and SATA connections on the back.

Once you have everything installed you are able to open the suite up and everything is nicely organized for you. This makes it easy if you are not very familiar with the Cyberlink products.
