Installation
So what will we be installing in this system? Here is what is going to make up our test system.
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K
Motherboard: ASRock H61iCafe
Memory: Patriot Viper Xtreme Division 2 DDR3 8GB
Storage: Samsung 750GB SATA Drive
Optical: ASUS Blu-ray Drive
Power: Zalman ZM1000-HP Plus 1000W
Case: Sentey Optimus GS-6000
Cooling: Thermaltake FRIO
Ok so the first thing you are going to want to do is install your CPU, CPU cooler and memory on the motherboard before you install it in your case. This was simply done and I did not run into any clearance issues at all.
Next go ahead and install the board in your case. Now install your hard drives and optical drives.
Finally install your power supply and connect everything. I still do not like the placement of the 8pin CPU power connector. I would have rather had it on the opposite side of the board.
