Here’s our setup:
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
Motherboard: ASRock 890FX Deluxe5 Motherboard
Memory: Patriot G-Series 4GB DDR3 12800 1600MHz AMD RAM
Graphics: Sapphire HD 5830 Xtreme 1GB Video Card
SSD: G.Skill Phoenix Pro 40GB SSD
HDD: Samsung 750GB SATA II
Optical: ASUS BW-12B1LT Blue Ray Burner
Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite Case
CPU Cooling: Cooler Master Gemin II S525 CPU Cooler
Installation is pretty typical for this motherboard. However, like I mentioned before, there are some clearance issues with the northbridge secondary heatsink on some CPU coolers, however with the Cooler Master Gemin II S525 there weren’t any clearance issues. There’s nothing really fancy or problematic about installing the RAM or processor.
Getting the motherboard attached to the case requires the standard 9 standoff/screw setup for ATX motherboards.
Installing an expansion card is also pretty simple, however you may have some issues if you’re using multiple graphics cards as well as other devices that use either the PCI-E x1 or PCI slots; you just have to use your head to figure out which way things will install properly.
