Apple has just sent out invitations to members of the press for an event on September 12, 2012. The invitation shows a large number “12” with a prominent shadow of a number “5”. It is no question that this event is where Apple will announce the next iPhone, referred to as many as the iPhone 5. After seeing the invitation there is no doubt that the new iPhone will be called the iPhone 5. The event will be held at 10AM Pacific Time (1PM Eastern) at San Francisco’s Buena Center for the Arts.
Apple fans have waited quite some time for a new iPhone. While the 4S is technically Apple’s 5th iPhone there were not enough improvements to really call it the iPhone 5. Over the past few months he have heard all types of iPhone 5 rumors. It looks like on September 12th we will get our answers!
