Antec Six Hundred V2 Case Review

Six Hundred V2 Overview
The Six Hundred V2 is a very attractive case with black styling and silver accents.  It only comes in the black / silver configuration.  It is a mid-tower case so you are going to be able to fit an ATX motherboard inside and a few video cards.  I really do like the styling on this case, Antec made sure to not make it look like a boring case.

Looking at the front of the case Antec uses a mesh cover in front of the 2 120mm intake fan spots.  There is a small Antec logo towards the bottom of the case.  Moving up you have the 2.5-inch hot-swappable hard drive caddy and 3 5.25-inch drive bays.  The drive bezel covers are black, which goes well with the design of the case.

Moving up to the top of the case you have your power and reset buttons, audio connections and 3 USB 2.0 ports.  You can also see the “moonroof” on the top of the case.  The top of the case comes up and is centered on a large 200mm TriCool blue LED fan.  It is basically the centerpiece of the top of the case.

The side of the case is pretty plain except for the large window.  The window will show most of your motherboard, video cards and power supply.  There are some exhaust vents and a spot for an optional 120mm fan.

Moving around back things are pretty much normal here as well.  There is an included 120mm exhaust fan, two watercooling cutouts, and of course the power supply will be placed on the bottom of the case.  Also on the back of the case are controls for the top and rear fans.  You are able to change the speed of both fans and turn the LED’s on and off on the top fan.
