Performance Testing
To test performance we first use Passmark. It has a great built in network test that allows us to have a controlled test environment on both the server and client side. We will be testing a fixed block size of 16384 bytes and then a variable packet size ranging from 32 to 16384 bytes. Each test is run for a 5 minute period. We tested both the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz connection.
