AMD Teases the Radeon R9 295 X2

It looks like AMD is continuing their #2betterthan1 campaign. Saturday they released the below image via Twitter. What it looks like to us is the cooler shroud of the upcoming R9 295 X2, or rather a render of it.

AMD Radeon R9 295 X2

The R9 295 X2 will be AMD’s dual-GPU graphics cards based on the Hawaii architecture. Looking at the shroud rendering we can see a large Radeon logo in the center. Normally this is where a fan would be, but since we do know that the R9 295 X2 is going to have a hybrid cooler this is more than likely where the waterblock is going to be placed.

The AMD Radeon R9 295 X2 is set to be released April 8th. From what we know this dual-GPU card will have 5120 stream processors, 8GB of GDDR5 memory and a dual 512-bit interface.
