Testing – Benchmarks

To test the performance and stability of the Phenom II X4 940, I ran a series of benchmarks. I ran the benchmarks once at stock clock and again at my overclock. I also ran the benchmarks on the same rig with my Phenom X4 9950, which as I mentioned earlier is the last processor of the earlier generation of Phenom X4s. I was very pleased with the 9950, as it was significantly more powerful than the earlier processors of its generation.

Most of the results were expected. The Phenom II performed very well when overclocked.
