AMD Has Revised The Pump-Block Design on the Fury X

After many reviews and feedback from users the biggest issue with AMD’s brand new Radeon R9 Fury X was the noisy pump-block. This pump block design has a very high-pitched whine that many users reported. It looks like AMD has gone and already revised the pump-block design on the card.

So how can you tell if your card has the new pump-block design? The photo above shows the original design that has the blue and white Cooler Master logo on it. The newer and we assume fixed pump block design has a larger Cooler Master logo that is chrome, which Cooler Master uses on many OEM devices. We have that pictured below.

You are able to open the front plate covering of the card without breaking or voiding any warranties on the card. So if you happen to have a card with the original design and it does have that noise we would suggest sending it for an RMA.
