All-New Designed 5.5-inch iPhone Coming This Year

There are always rumors about new iPhones coming out, but now we have KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo predicting that Apple will release two “all-new design” iPhones, which will come in 4.7 and 5.5-inch variants.

All-New Designed 5.5-inch iPhone Coming This Year

According to the product roadmap shown above the 4.7-inch iPhone would be released in the last part of Q3, probably around September. The much larger 5.5-inch iPhone would be released towards the end of the year, probably just in time for Christmas.

We are not really sure what this “all-new design” is all about, but if you are like we you hope it will actually be a drastic change. The iPhone 5 was said to be “newly designed” from the ground up, but it really was not all that different from previous models. At this point Apple now has to compete with Samsung so they might actually have to change things up at bit.

If Apple is shifting gears and releasing two flagship phones in one year it would sure be an interesting move. If anything Apple needs to really bring out a product that is different to complete with Samsung and Android.
