Last year we took a look at a very sexy external hard drive from ADATA. The DashDrive Elite HE720 was a great external hard drive, but it was limited by the mechanical hard drive that was inside of it. Well ADATA is back with the DashDrive Elite SE720, which looks almost identical to the HE720, but what’s under the hood is completely different. This time with the SE720 ADATA has packed it with a 128 GB solid state drive. Packaging
The DashDrive Elite SE720 comes in ADATA’s nice retail packaging. On the front of the package it shows a photo of the drive and lets us know the capacity and speeds. This drive is 128 GB and that is currently the only capacity available. Read and write speeds are set at 300 MB/s and 400 MB/s respectively. On the back of the box there is even more information about the drive.
Opening the box up the drive is nicely packed inside. Getting everything out you have the SE720 external solid state drive, USB 3.0 cable, travel case and user’s guide.
