DashDrive Air AE400 Overview
The DashDrive Air AE400 is a rather small device. Our measurements put it at 3” x 2.5” x 0.7” (LxWxD). Being this size it can easily fit in your pocket or be thrown in your laptop bag or backpack. On the top of the device is an ADATA logo and a row on indication LEDs. The top has a sort of honeycomb design. Towards the bottom there are three honeycombs that are black, that is the power / function button.
On one end there is a proprietary mini USB connection that is used for charging the device as well as when you want to use the card reader. The device has a 5000 mAh battery that is used to power the device as well as charge your mobile devices. There is a larger normal USB port that is used for connecting a USB flash drive or USB hard drive for storage. There is also a small recessed reset button.
On the opposite end there is a SD card reader that is also used for storage. The SD card reader supports both SD and SDHC cards. The bottom of the device has a smaller honeycomb design and has the serial number on it.
