Acer Announces the Predator Z35P 35″, 3440×1440, G-SYNC Display

Acer has added a new entry into theor Predator line of gaming monitors. The Z35P will effectively replace the aging Z35 which only had a resolution of 2560 x 1808. With the Z35P you have a higher resolution and better contrast ratio as well as a newer design.

The Predator Z35P is based off a 35-inch AMVA panel with a 3440 x 1440 resolution, a relatively low maximum brightness of 300 nits, 2500:1 contrast ratio, 100 Hz refresh rate, 178°/178° viewing angles, a 4 ms response time, and a 1800R curve. It has been reported that the refresh rate can be overclocked from 100 Hz to 120 Hz (with G-SYNC as well), which is pretty nice.
