Acer Announces 34-inch Curved Ultra-Wide FreeSync Monitor

Another monitor has been added to the FreeSync list, but this one is much more extravagant than many of the other models out there. It is the Acer XR341CK, which is a 34-inch curved ultrawide monitor that has support for AMD’s FreeSync technology.

The IPS panel features a native resolution of 3440 x 1440, 60 Hz refresh rate, 300 nits of brightness, a 4ms response time, and very impressive viewing angles. The stand offers height and tilt adjustment and for connectivity you have HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, miniDisplayPort, and a USB 3.0 hub. There are also 7W speakers with DTS sound.

Acer already showed off their G-Sync version of this display at Computex, but it looks like the FreeSync version will hit shelves first. Acer tells us this display will be available next month, whereas the G-Sync version will be out sometime in September. The MSRP on the display will be $1099, which is $200 cheaper than the G-Sync variant.
