Flash Drives are no longer devices that only hold presentations and other random documents. SanDisk just announced 64GB versions of Wireless Flash Drive, and Wireless Media Drive. These flash drives not only store data, but will also stream media content to your mobile devices right from the flash drive.
Most devices connect to PCs and tablets through USB’s or data cable in case of phones when we talk about external storage media. SanDisk which is known as global leader when it comes to flash memory storage solutions, has announced its SanDisk Connect, a series of wireless flash memory storage devices which include SanDisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive and SanDisk Connect Wireless Media Drive. These devices certainly represent the next generation portable storage, providing an easy access to sharing content across multiple mobile devices.
The night before CES actually starts, media company Pepcom holds an annual event called “Digital Experience.” This event showcases some of the newest technology coming to market, some of it announced at the event or shortly before it. I toured Digital Experience — this year with an Area 51 alien invasion theme — and present herein some of the great finds.
Memory maker SanDisk showed off a few new things this year, most interestingly its third generation SSD technology. It received an award for its second generation SSD technology, too. We’d be in error to omit the release of its strange new PMP, too. ThinkComputers checks it out.
