We are expecting that Western Digital is going to put a rest to the shipments of the parallel-ATA (PATA or legacy ATA) hard drives and this stoppage will be effective since the 29th of this month. The lineup of PATA hard drives was a small one in the company’s extensive product portfolio and this was solely to help the people who were still using the older laptops and wanted some upgrades for their hard drives.
It has been reported that the 6 TB Ultrastar He6 hard disk drive (HDD) is finally being shipped by HGST, which is a known Western Digital company. HP, Netflix, Huawei Unified Storage, CERN, Green Revolution Cooling and Code42 are some of the big names which have worked with HGST and have been the Key OEM, cloud and research leaders helping HGST all along. These are just a few prominent names, there are many other names which are associated with well known largest social media and search companies.

With these speeds the user can transfer 10GB of data in less than one minute.
Large volume external storage has also been and will remain to be popular just for the fact that many people do not have room inside their cases for extra hard drives. Today we will be taking a look at the MB561US-4S-1 Quad Bay External Enclosure from ICY DOCK that features an internal port multiplier and both eSATA and USB 2.0 connections. Let’s take a look…
