The FT200HQL 20-inch class LED-backlit display is now being offered by Acer America along with the 10-point capacitive touch for consumers. This is available in the United States and has been priced reasonably at $199.
Acer has added yet another product offering tot its vast range of existing product portfolio with its launch of the latest PC, Aspire ZC-605 All-in-One. This new PC which has been equipped with the Windows 8 operating systems comes with LED backlit feature and a 19.5 inch display. It comes with the 1.9 GHz Pentium 2127U dual core processor with 4 GB of RAM and it all doesn’t end here; the PC comes with a hard drive of 1 TB and a Super Multi optical drive.

These LED monitors have the capability of offering ultra high resolution and come in large 27 and 29-inch screens for consumer plus commercial use. Acer America announced today that its new 20inch class Veriton Z2640G all-in-one (AIO) commercial desk has now been made available to users in the field of business, education or government. This AIO desktop offers a screw-less framework design and modular components for its convenient maintenance and improvement. It comprises of a removable feet and VESA wall mount support that facilitates these systems to be hung on the wall to save space while also having a flexible frame that tilts from 6 degrees to 60 degrees can be adjusted accordingly for maximum viewing comfort.
The Acer Iconia Windows 8 tablet has finally come forward and showed itself off on Acer Finland website. On their website Acer has now revealed full specifications of tablet which first showed up on Amazon. The tablet comes with a preinstall Windows 8 Pro and Intel Atom Z2760 processor along with 2GB of RAM and Intel graphics media accelerator 3650 GPU. Storage capacity is low of 64 GB eMMC. Connectivity uses the usual Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Bluetooth 4.0. The site doesn’t have to say anything about the battery life but as tested by Acer its 8 hours which is pretty reasonable.
So the next big concern coming down the aisle for Ultrabooks may be simpler than CPU, RAM, hard-drives, and networking, it will concern what material to use. It seems much of the aluminum chassis needed to produce the popular magnesium-aluminum alloy for these devices is in short supply (with Apple having formed rock solid alliances with the two major alloy vendors) and manufacturers like Acer, Asus and HP are considering using fiberglass. Acer has already announced plans for a 15-inch fiberglass-encased notepad in 2012.
