3DMark Scores Reveal GTX 1070 is Faster Than Titan X

NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce GTX 1070, which is scheduled to be released June 10th is shaping up to be a really great card. How great? 3DMark scores released by VideoCardz show that the GTX 1070 is faster than the Titan X. Running 3DMark FireStrike at three popular resolutions (1080p/1440p/4K), the GTX 1070 is about 3 percent faster than the GTX Titan X.

FireStrike (standard):
– GTX 1070: 17557
– Titan X: 17396

FireStrike (advanced):
– GTX 1070: 8327
– Titan X: 7989

Firestrike (Ultra):
– GTX 1070: 4078
– GTX Titan: 3862

The GeForce GTX 1070 features 1,920 CUDA cores, 120 TMUs, and 8 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 8.00 GHz. It will have an MSRP of $379, although the reference (Founders Edition) will be sold at a premium ($449).
