Futuremark has given us enthusiasts a little holiday present, the 3DMark 2016 beta! Sadly it does not include the “Time Spy” DirectX 12 benchmark that we talked about last week, but it still has some cool things included!
The beta does include a preview of VRMark, which is a 3D VR benchmark designed for VR headsets. Since it is in such an early release it does not generate a score. It also does not support multi-GPU setups yet. But you do get a VR version of “Fire Strike” which has to look pretty damn cool!
The beta also shows off the brand new user-interface that seems to be more organized and easier on the eyes. The beta is being distributed through Steam and open to everyone who owns the paid version of 3DMark on Steam. Grab it here!
