Most external hard drive enclosures that you see these days are made to look sleek and stylish sitting on your desk or tower. While this is good it is nice to see a company do something a little different. In Win has designed a 2.5-inch external hard drive enclosure that is military themed. It actually looks like a clip for a M4 rifle! Made of 0.8mm of cold steel the Ammo enclosure sure offers a lot of protection and for security measures it offers RFID protection. Let’s take a look…

So it isn’t often that we run across a radical departure from the radiator norm. Our friends at Sunbeamtech, in their Tuniq division, has done just that, created a 120mm tower cooler that looks like nothing we’ve seen, the Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme. Besides a unique radiator design, the five core-contact heatpipes have a different twist too. Even the fan is in an odd place for a square tower cooler. Will it cool the i7? Read on to see!

It seems like computer monitors, especially LCD monitors are finally starting to move over to the 16:9 aspect ratio. When we first started seeing widescreen models they were all 16:10 aspect ratio, so you would have resolutions like 1680 x 1050 and 1920 x 1200. Now the 16:9 models are starting to come out offering full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080. Today we will be looking at one such monitor the Samsung SyncMaster 2233SW, which is a 22-inch display that features a 5ms response time, 15000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a very sleek design.

Before receiving the H1-Touch from LUXA2 I really did not know there was a market for mobile device holders, but there definitely is, especially for the iPhone! I am an iPhone user and I take my iPhone with me everywhere and I’m on it all the time. Instead of having my iPhone just sitting on my desk it would be nice to have it sitting in front of me where I can easily respond to calls or e-mails. That is where the LUXA2 H1-Touch comes in; it is the perfect holder for your mobile device.

Today I will be looking at the Evercool Buffalo HPFI7-10025, one of Evercool’s economy coolers that has been redesigned for use with LGA 1366 processors. It is a smaller cooler, only 100mm, the first cooler I’ve used on the i7 that doesn’t have a 120mm fan. It is also my first Evercool cooler.I’ve had many Evercool fans, but no coolers. It sports a pair of heatpipes, making it the first heatpipe CPU cooler I’ve used that only has two pipes. How will this little jewel stand up to the hot i7? Read on to see!
