MP3 Players have evolved a lot since they first burst on to the scene. Apple really surprised people with their iPod MP3 Player and it really took off. You can see why too, easy to use controls, smooth menus, and the ease of syncing everything through iTunes. Apple has such a hold on the MP3 player market many people don’t ask if you have an MP3 player, they ask if you have an iPod. The iPod Nano is Apple’s midrange model of iPod and today we are going to take a look at the 3rd generation model which was introduced in late 2007.
Everyone knows about Gigabyte, and their fine motherboards, so no introduction is necessary. They are the first company to provide a platform for our spankin’ new i7 920, and I suspect that it will be the standard for all others to meet. Today I am looking at the Gigabyte X58-UD4P, Gigabyte’s mainstream X58 motherboard. With 2 PCI-E x16 slots and an x8 slot supporting both SLI and CrossFire, support for 24 gigs of memory, and even a newly designed PCB, this board is impressive even at first glance. Will this board compliment the awesome capabilities of the i7? Read on to see!
Evolution Gaming aka EVO-G is probably not widely known among the LAN party scene, but with the LB1 LAN Bag I think they could become more widely known. The EVO-G LB1 LAN Bag comes equipped with all the necessary compartments needed to carry your PC case and extra cables and components to bring along with you to a LAN party. The LB1 has got other carrying cases beat with the sheer protection, quality material and storage space for the avid LAN party goer. It even comes with its own carrying case!
Today I will be looking at the Intel Core i7 920, the most affordable of the three Nehalem processors. Yeah, I’m a little late to the punch, but better late than never. I’d like to welcome our newest sponsor, Intel, to ThinkComputer.org’s growing family of manufacturers and vendors helping us to bring you as much information as possible before you make that hardware purchase. Read on to see if the excitement surrounding the Core i7 is all hype, or if you should start saving your pennies to join the party!
